What did the Experiment at Calvary Reveal?

Input - What goes into the black box.

Output - What comes out of the black box.

The Black Box - Adversity, prosperity or something else.

In the case of the Son of God, the characteristic we study as He passes through the black box is His love for us. This characteristic is important to us.

In the case of the Son of God, the black box is the torture and death we inflicted upon the Son of God while He was human, alive, tender and mortal.

The experiment - If the love note that God gave us at Bethlehem were counterfeit, His love for us would fade as we tortured Him and die when we killed Him at Calvary. If the love note that God gave us at Bethlehem were genuine, His love for us would survive

What did the experiment of Calvary reveal?

He loved us entering the black box; He loved us passing through it; And He loved us nonetheless when He emerged.

Our experiment tells us that God's love for us is indestructible.

The dial that controls His love for us is in His hands not ours. It is set to the highest degree and is locked in place.

Where do I sign up? How do I enlist? How do I become part of the kingdom of this God who overlooks the evil we did and do to Him? He is the sweetness that draws me back to my home in paradise.
