Jesus revealed a secret as He hung from the Cross. It is a secret hiding in plain sight. It is the secret for surviving suffering. When you are asked to go a few rounds with suffering or to fight with suffering for the entire match, cling as Jesus clung to love of God and love of neighbor, hold on tight and do not let go. Love of God and love of neighbor is the sanctuary in times of suffering. Love of God and love of neighbor is the life preserver to which the drowning man clings with an iron grip in the raging storms of life. It is a secret. Pass it on like good gossip is passed on. Cling as Jesus clung.
