Following the Tug of the Holy Spirit to its Source

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS TUGGING AT OUR SOULS AND THE CURIOUS ARE FOLLOWING THE TUG BACK TO ITS SOURCE. ALONG THE WAY, THE CURIOUS ARE EXPLORING THE MYSTERY, MAJESTY AND MAGNIFICENCE OF GOD.

What excites our curiosity in God? What energizes the pursuit?

Our curiosity in God is excited by the same sight that excited Moses (Exodus 3:1-3). The great sight that catches our curiosity and makes us turn aside is the burning bush (Exodus 3:1-3). We set the Love Note on fire to incinerate it but God’s prodigious love for us was not consumed. The fact that we burned the Love Note but God's love for us was not consumed is the engine that energizes the pursuit of God. It excites our curiosity in God. It makes us want to get to know him better - to draw closer to him.
